Our Pillar Beeswax Candles in Small, Medium, and Large create a beautifully balanced composition when styled together, offering a mix of height and proportion. Each size also works as a stand-alone piece, creating a simple, structured setting.

Pillar candles are self-supporting, making them ideal for centrepieces, mantels, and everyday ambient lighting. They provide a soft, steady glow, well suited to longer gatherings and relaxed evenings.

Burn Time

Small:
Up to 24 hours.

Pillar candles require thoughtful placement to burn efficiently. For the best experience, ensure the wick is trimmed to 5mm. This will allow the candle to burn at its finest. Once the candle is lit, allow it to burn for approximately 3–4 hours, or until the melt pool reaches the edge. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of the candle.

100% Pure New Zealand Beeswax, Sourced from Manuka Hives, with no Additives.
100% organic hemp wick.
Each candle is hand poured in small batches.
Beeswax colour may vary slightly, which is a natural result of organically sourced beeswax with no unnecessary processing. This preserves the strong, naturally occurring honey aroma.

The House of Leit difference

Hemp wicks complement this, giving you a candle that’s close to “nature’s purest”, and which burns cleanly for a healthier, soot-free experience.

Our signature golden caramel tone is created from a blend of aged beeswax (dark gold) and its younger counterpart (Yellow), a perfected rich tone designed to complement any palette in your home.

Handmade on Waiheke Island using 100% organic New Zealand sourced beeswax and a 100% organic hemp wick. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches and finished with our signature hand-dipped technique, giving a beautiful earthy look. Subtle variations will occur. 

Always burn candles within sight. Cut wick to 5mm before lighting. Fits standard size candlesticks, candelabras and taper holders.
