House of Leit started at my own dining table. Every evening, my partner Joaquin and I share a meal, and lighting a candle has always been our way to slow down and connect.

As we sit together and talk, the candlelight sets a mood that holds a certain sacredness, an atmosphere that is at once more delicate, more grounding, and more peaceful.

That daily ritual sparked a curiosity in me and is what led me to perfect the craft of candle making. It was a path that changed everything, giving my hands a purpose and my mind a place to rest.

Today, House of Leit is home to both my candle making and my photography, crafted with an intention to bring a sense of peace into any space.

Our candles are handmade on Waiheke Island using 100% New Zealand Manuka beeswax and hemp wicks.
